Company History
Tradition and progress mark out our path
The Grob company was founded in 1945, and initially undertook all kinds of machining operation.
Later, this developed into the specialization of machine-cut thread manufacture. Complete assemblies (worm gear screw jacks) were developed in-house and manufactured, so that in 1976 the purely contract operation turned into a company with its own production program.
The production line for manufacturing threaded spindles and worm gear screw jacks is laid out for small to medium series. Both standard series products and customer-specific parts are produced in batch sizes from 1 to 1000 units.

We have followed this motto for over 60 years. To be able to fulfill such expectations all the time, we develop new products in a spirit of innovation, drawing on considerable experience in production and the selection of raw materials. The wishes and requirements of our customers with regard to quality, price and delivery times, as well as changes in the market situation, are decisive factors in product development.
The success of this philosophy is shown in the long-term relationship with our customers.
Safety and Environment
In addition to these planned certifications, we have also been concerned at an early date to implement processes that reduce health and safety risks for our personnel and environmental influences on our sites to a minimum. This aspect will remain an important topic, now and in the future. This means that environmental effects over the entire product life must be taken into consideration when the products are designed: starting with production, and carrying on through transport and operational usage up to final disposal.

for elevating platforms, roller adjustment, and all kinds of adjustment and press motion.
Grob Antriebstechnik was formed in August 2006 through the fusion of the two companies Grob GmbH andE. u. G. Grob Vertriebs GmbH. A change in shareholders took place at the same time. The company employs 35 people at present.
Quality
Our EN ISO 9001 quality management system was introduced in 1999. Now Grob is already operating in accordance with the requirements of environmental policies and workplace safety. Final certification of the environmental management system as per EN ISO 14001 and the workplace safety system in accordance with BS8800, is planned for 2009.
The application of these safety and quality systems enables us to provide our customers with a qualified product that meets the required standards for functional safety and operating life at an acceptable price in a competitive time.

The quality and continued development of the products, and their fast and flexible delivery, are the foundations for a strong market position. So we have been able to counter the extreme fluctuations of the economy and can take an optimistic view of the opening up of new markets.
